I love teaching & playing Piano
My name is David Steinberg, I’m a friendly and fun piano teacher experienced in teaching people of all ages and abilities. I can travel to your home in or around North London. I can also offer online tuition where ever you live.
It doesn’t matter if you have never touched a piano, I will have you or your child making music and playing your favourite songs in only a few weeks. I teach all different styles of music including classical, jazz, rock, pop, blues, soul, reggae, funk and more.
I am a member of ABRSM and if required can teach ABRSM Grades 1-8 (classical) and ABRSM Jazz Grades 1-5, as well as any other graded exams from other boards. Contact me for more about the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM).
I also teach music theory, aural skills, improvisation and composition skills and musical appreciation.
My Background
After graduating from University with a BA Honours in Music it didn’t take me long to decide to pursue teaching music as a career. I had already taken on one piano student at University and had researched music in education for the purposes of writing my final dissertation.
Since then I have built up my London piano lessons client base into a busy teaching schedule and have been thoroughly enjoying teaching a variety of musical styles to both children and adults.
I have been fully checked by the CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) and can show my certificate on request.
